Adaptive tools for decisions on water infrastructure affected by compounding climate change impacts, p 73

Multiple interacting hazards at the coast post a challenging problem for local government and decisions makers with critical water infrastructure assets located in at-risk locations. Of particular importance is navigating the uncertainty around the timing, frequency, and magnitude of coastal hazards such as relative sea-level rise, coastal inundation, erosion, rising groundwater and rainfall-runoff events, while providing an agreed level of service for three waters systems and constraining costs.
