Adapting Aotearoa webinar 1: Climate change impacts in the primary sector

In this webinar you’ll hear from three researchers about some of the latest research on climate change impacts in the Aotearoa New Zealand primary sector, particularly relating to dairy and sheep farmers. This was the first of two webinars leading into the Adapting Aotearoa symposium (November 20 2023 in Ōtautahi Christchurch).

The webinars and symposium were held to get us thinking and talking about climate adaptation in our food and farming sectors in Aotearoa New Zealand. The symposium and webinars are brought to you by the Deep South Challenge: Changing with our Climate in collaboration with Our Land and Water National Science Challenge and Resilience to Nature’s Challenges National Science Challenge, and explore innovative solutions for building climate resilience and deeper understanding of the urgency for adaptation in our agricultural practices.
