Climate science is critical to New Zealand’s response to climate change 

Coming to the end of the Deep South Challenge and the strategic support for observations and modelling research throughout New Zealand, the Challenge hosted an event on 21-22 Feb 2024 in Wellington to discuss the future of climate science in New Zealand. 

This document is a brief letter to decision-makers outlining some of the key messages to come from these two days. It is intended as a resource for the climate science community.
